Sheraton Metechi Hotel hosted the second consolidated meeting of human rights organizations on September 21, 2011. The meeting aimed to discuss the following key issues related to disability:

• Enforce the work of State Coordinating Council on the issues of persons with disabilities
• Implementation of 2010-2012 State Action Plan on social integration of persons with disabilities
• Discuss the situation with regard to ratification of 2006 UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities

It has to be noted that the meeting was attended by Andria Urushadze, Minister of Labour, Healthcare and Social Affairs who were answering questions raised by disabled people's organizations present at the discussion.
